It's that time of year again where we get the biggest sneaker heavyweights around one table to discuss the best sneakers of 2011. The roundtable is assembled of ATF front man DJ Clark Kent, Nice Kicks' founder Matt Halfhill, Complex sneaker editor Russ Bengtson and Complex strategist and editor Joe La Puma, and Kith's very own Ronnie Fieg. As mentioned previously, we'll be dropping two videos daily this week, all leading up to the #1 Sneaker of 2011.
This pair of Jordans was made famous by Michael in the 1988 Slam Dunk Contest when he dunked from the free-throw line, defending his slam dunk title and winning for the second consecutive year. And there were also the commercials. Not only is this a great sneaker, but the history behind it makes this Jordan that much better.
