After much speculation of whether or not there would even be an NFL season, the time has finally come. Week 1 is almost in the books, and it looks like we're in store for a season of unpredictability and young teams starting to make a push — in particular the Lions, who haven't been relevant since the Barry Sanders era. Barry (and his brother from another Deion) may know best that football isn't always about cleats. Sanders, along with other NFL legends, was forced to play on unforgiving Astroturf which was later replaced with a more cleat-friendly surface. Over the Astroturf era we've seen many football trainers come and go, and we're not about to kiss them goodbye. As Monday Night Football kicks off, take a look at The 25 Best Football Turf Trainers of All-Time, and enjoy the NFL season.

Respect to the list. The ADT originals should be no. one but that is bc I am biased when it comes to those. I am glad to see they were at least among the top 5. The Reebok Preseason lows did the job too back in the day! Great coverage.
