Nike Sportswear honors one of NYC basketball's greatest to ever do it: John "The Franchise" Strickland. Strickland's untimely passing in 2010 at the age of 38 was a definite blow to the basketball community — his flair, energy and overall showmanship is greatly missed both on and off the court. Nike pays homage to the great by giving him his own Air Force 1 decked out in crisp premium white leather sitting on top a smooth gum outsole with Strick's famous "FINISH YOUR BREAKFAST" slogan on the tongue tab, FRANCHISE embossed on the heels, and XI embossed on the heel tabs.
