Half of the sneaker game is knowing what kicks are out when, and which shops have them. Our Shelf Space column looks at what shops around the country are stocking in a given week, and gives a quick glimpse into the mind of the buyer/manager/owner who put them there.

As we continue our mission of bringing you the insides of the best sneaker spots from around the U.S., we headed to the Windy City and stopped in at Leaders 1354, located in Chicago, Illinois. The shop's creative director, Victor Pitre, gave us a look at 10 of the newest sneakers currently sitting on the store shelves. Nike Air Diamond Turf, $110

LDRS Says: "Deion Sanders ran a 4.21 second 40-yard dash entering the NFL. You’ll never do that. You can rock the Deion look, though, thanks to this new colorway of the Nike Air Diamond Turf. Though past colorways saw this silhouette bear the coloring inspired by Deion’s past teams, this one strays from tradition and sports a White, Black and Varsity Royal make-up."

Nike Air Griffey Max 1 "Emerald", $140

LDRS Says: "Making its first appearance on shelves since its maiden voyage, the 'Emerald' Nike Air Griffey Max 1 has been tracked down and traded for for over 15 years now. Thankfully, Nike has brought it back with OG colorblocking, despite having substituted 'Fresh Water' for the original Mariner Emerald. This classic bring-back is set to drop on August 10th, 2011."

Nike Blazer Mid AB VNTG, $100

LDRS Says: "Nike Sportswear's latest release of the Blazer Mid arrives to us with a few slight variations.
