As part of the whole Coastal Carnage madness in Huntington Beach this past weekend, Converse showed off their ever-increasing line of CONS skate shoes. Along with the usual suspects like the All-Star CTS, Sea Star and CVO, there was a black suede Jack Purcell skate model, signtaure joints for Kenny Anderson, Rune Glifberg and Nick Trapasso (those tie-dyed ones go hard), and an intriguing in-line silhouette called the Sergeant done up in all mustard suede. The whole aesthetic appears to be simple, vintage-inspired silhouettes done up in premium materials and bold colors — sometimes it's that easy. Plenty more to come on all of these later, but for now just enjoy the flicks from under the California sun.
