For spring/summer 2012, New Balance presents their outdoor/runner mash up named the 581. The 581 mixes cues from the New Balance 574 model and fuses it with a rugged outdoor sensibility giving the 581 a personality of its own. Look for these next year in two trail-appropriate colorways.
