On Febuary 9th 2011, Celtics shooting guard Ray Allen wrote himself into the history books and pretty much cemented his spot in the Basketball Hall Of Fame by breaking the all-time NBA record of 3-pointers made (against the Lakers no less — sorry Kobe). Not only did Ray break the record, but he did it wearing a sweet green/white PE pair of the Air Jordan XIII complete with his signature "Ray" embroidered on the tongue. There was some buzzing about a possible release, but nothing was definitively confirmed until today: the Air Jordan XIII Retro Ray Allen will in fact release in extremely limited numbers on July 16th exclusively at House of Hoops in Boston, MA, and at SoleFly in Miami, FL. Also to commemorate the release, a caricature t-shirt with Ray's likeness on the front and the tagline "2,561 and counting" underneath.
