Back in the mid-'80s, shoe technology wasn't quite what it is today, so when Michael Jordan returned from a broken foot that caused him to miss much of his sophomore NBA season, Nike had to try something different. Starting with a mismatched pair of original Air Jordans (one size 13, the other a 13.5), Nike built in ankle braces and straps and orthotics, creating a crude version of the setup Derrick Rose relies on today. Given what MJ went on to do, these should probably be in the Hall of Fame — instead they can be yours for a mere $25,000 (plus $24.99 shipping — seriously?).
