Half of the sneaker game is knowing what kicks are out when, and which shops have them. Our Shelf Space column looks at what shops around the country are stocking in a given week, and gives a quick glimpse into the mind of the buyer/manager/owner who put them there.

As we continue our mission of bringing you the insides of the best sneaker spots from around the U.S., we headed eastbound on the L.I.E. and stopped in at Sneaker Bistro, located in Patchogue, New York. Team Bistro gave us a look at 10 of the newest sneakers currently sitting on the store shelves. Nike Air Griffey Max II "Fresh Water", $140

Team Bistro Says: "We've been waiting a long time for the Swoosh to retro this sneaker, about 15 years long. This one was special because it was the first time we saw the Swingman logo on a Griffey Max. Being that this is such a dope shoe with legacy, we took it to the diamond so it could be shot for our blog in its true environment."

Nike Air Max Nomo, $140

Team Bistro Says: "Hideo Nomo may not have had a Hall of Fame career in the majors, but he definitely had a crazy sneaker line. What really made this shoe dope is the midsole that was similar to the Air Griffey Max 1. The sick upper design definitely matches his pitching style, which earned him the nickname, 'The Tornado'."

Nike Air Max 90, $95

Team Bistro Says: "The Air Max 90 is another shoe that we can't keep on the shelves, because our clientele loves it! It's classic running in a nice colorway for those who aren't into loud sneakers. They're also super comfortable as well, so it's a win win all around."

Nike Blazer Mid, $78

Team Bistro Says: "We got featured heavily online for this shoe! Much like the Air Force 1, the Nike Blazer was originally a basketball sneaker to our knowledge. This particular Blazer Mid is one of our favorites, because it carries a clean Black & White colorway. Most basketball shoes in the past have become more fashionable & lifestyle driven, as this shoe features "reptile skin" material on the base."

Nike Air Max '95, $145

Team Bistro Says: "What can be said about this shoe that hasn't already been said? Plain and simple, this is a classic runner in a vibrant new colorway just in time for the spring. Offering different hues of grey, and a dope chlorine blue, we hope it's not slept on in weeks to come."

Nike Sweet Classic High, $68

Team Bistro Says: "We realize that sneaker shopping can get expensive, so we decided to bring in a pair of sneakers that were not only nice but easy on the wallet as well. The Sweet Classic High is another clean silhouette that wont break the bank, and you'll still be effortlessly cool."

Nike Air Max 1, $92

Team Bistro Says: "This 'Daybreak' colorway of the Air Max 1 is unlike any other applied to this classic running shoe. Its vibrant and toned down at the same time, also making this a good cop for the spring/summer season. We took a different approach by shooting them on Mr. Bistro's foot, and an hour after blogging them, the phones were off the hook!"

Nike Air Flight Classic, $90

Team Bistro Says: "This is a dope basketball sneaker because of the materials used, its versatility, and affordability. It's definitely a shoe you can wear on or off the court with style. The cool grey nubuck upper is combined with patent leather, while sitting over a white midsole for a nice clean look. The morning we got them, we immediately took them to a nearby basketball court and put our Nikon to work."

Nike Air Force 1 High Foamposite, $185

Team Bistro Says: "Most people don't like hybrid sneakers, but Nike did a great job with these AF-1 Foamposites. The Nike AF-1 Foamposite High was first introduced in 2010 and since has had a great retail response from consumers. In our opinion, this white colorway is the best to be released to date, and we're almost sold out."

Nike Air Max '95, $145

Team Bistro Says: "Again, this is a classic sneaker that is hard to keep on the shelf at Sneaker Bistro. The 'Mandarin' colorway has been compared to the 'Safety Orange' colorway, but it is slightly different. Being a classic shoe that speaks for itself, we decided to do a simple photo shoot for these which received good reviews and online placement on various sneaker blogs."
