Originally designed as a basketball shoe, "The Assist" was a go-to sneaker for skaters in the '80s. For the first time ever, ellesse is re-releasing this classic model. Part of their heritage line, the sneaker stays true to the original — it's bulky and bright and it features high ankle support, a protective lacing system, the classic ellesse logo along the side panels and a gummy sole. An integral part of footwear history, these will soon be available at select retailers. You'll probably notice them.
