Basketball shoes are on crash diets. Obviously the lighter the shoe, the faster and easier the wearer will be able to move in them. This thought process gave birth to technologies like Nike Flywire and Hyperfuse, which drastically reduced the weight of the shoe while not compromising the structural integrity of the shoe itself. With that being said, it was only a matter of time before one of these technologies was applied to the Air Jordan 2011. Getting the same treatment as the Lebron VIII PS and the adidas Crazy Light where the sneaker was basically stripped down to the bare essentials, the Air Jordan 2011 Quick Fuse features a lower-cut construction, and the patina leather mudguard has been removed in favor of a Hyperfuse upper. Also, the interchangable cushioning system has been swapped out and replaced full-time with Zoom Air. Your flight has been chosen for you. No word on a release yet, so stay tuned.
