PremiumGoodsHalf of the sneaker game is knowing what kicks are out when, and which shops have them. Our Shelf Space column looks at what shops around the country are stocking in a given week, and gives a quick glimpse into the mind of the buyer/manager/owner who put them there.

As we continue our mission of bringing you the insides of the best sneaker spots from around the U.S., we stop in at Premium Goods, located in Brooklyn, NY. Clarence of Premium Goods took us through 10 of the hottest sneakers currently sitting on store shelves. Keep reading below to see the shop's picks and what he had to say about each...

blazervntg

Nike Blazer VNTG, $100
"Most of the vintage style shoes sell well for me. I assume it's my customer base that likes that retro shoe style from their youth."

coolgray

Jordan XI Retro "Cool Grey", $175
"Anything retro from Jordan brand is a done deal. This is the second time ever that this color was released. The XI is most likely the signature shoe for Brand Jordan. They have probably done under 10 variations in total over the last 25 years, and kids camped out at stores days before Christmas for these."

nb

New Balance Pro Court, $55
"Most people don't associate NB with a casual canvas court shoe. This one comes in all-white and all-black. I love this shoe so much, I plan on doing a collaboration with NB for Summer 2011 with it."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

nikeam90

Nike Air Max 90 "Infrared", $95
"This, along with the Air Max 1, sells extremely well for us. This is the famous O.G. colorway that has been retroed a few times but still seems to continually sell out."

vansbuffalo

Vans Buffalo Boot, $80
"These were introduced a couple of seasons ago and they are great for the winter. Similar to a boot but still retaining the sneaker feel expected from classic Vans. The colors are sick, also."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

niketoki

Nike Toki, $75
"This is Nike's answer to the casual footwear boom that has happened over the last couple of years. Similar to a chukka shoe, but done simple and clean. This denim colorway is clean for spring, even though we have 8" of snow coming in two days."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

nikeam1

Nike Air Max 1, $92
"This classic running shoe is great for kicking it. Sells good. Colorways are always on point. More for the sneakerhead-type guy."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

seavees

SeaVees Court, $115
"SeaVees is a relatively new-ish shoe company that opened in the last few years. It's a lifestyle brand out of California and their models reflect that. I must admit that the price point is a tad bit high but these court shoes are sick. This is for the guy that wants to wear a nicer-looking sneaker to work, but not a shoe."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

keds

Keds Champion, $30
"This is a classic every woman should own. I think after the Chuck Taylor, this is the second-most popular shoe in the world...LOL. But seriously, for $30, I wish I could get a brand new pair of kicks. These come in all flavors and fabrics."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

vanstaka

Vans Akat, $125
"These are a new design from Taka Hayashi. He has collaborated with Vans over the past few years, and his shoes all seem to sell extremely well. Despite the price point, he is able to get people interested in the Vans Vault line."
