Walk into NYC's staple cool-guy sneaker shop ALIFE and you'll be greeted by Jesse Villanueva, a man who wears many hats for the company. Jesse is the store's account executive, buyer, and brand manager, and his love and knowledge for sneakers has landed him a New York Times profile as well as a spot in a Blackberry commerical. The man who resides on the daily at 158 Rivington put together a year-end list that includes Nike's Lunar series, the new take on the Jordan 1, and even the left-of-center Jeremy Scott x adidas "Teddy Bear". Why does every top 10 sneaker list I've seen today consist of these same boring blahzay shoes. I can't believe nobody has nominated the Copper Penny Foamposite. The Coppers were some of the most neck breaking shoes of the year. If you live in DC, Maryland or NYC you know there was pandemonium over this shoe when it dropped back in February.

top ten lists are subjective and this dudes favorite shoes are obviously different than what you were into this year...that said, there were a lot of hot shoes this year and im sure the foamposites probably made it into someones top 20 at least
