They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. It happens a lot. So often, in fact, that we like to ask our readers "Who did it better?" from time to time when we see a new release that closely resembles something we've seen before.
This past Friday, Nike released its newest rendition of the All Court entitled the Nike All Court Twist LTR. The mock-up takes the re-vamped classic silo, subtracts the swoosh, and twists the laces to give the sneaker some added character. It turned out dope, but it isn't the first time we've seen a soccer-inspired lacing on a casual shoe. Earlier this year, Converse's collaboration with Number (N)ine was one of the hottest sneakers of 2010 (so far). Both Nike and Converse used premium suede and twist lacing, but who got it right? Check out more detailed pics after the jump and let us know who did it better...
