Nowadays if Jeff Staple's name is attached to an Air Max, you won't even be able to get a pair. But when Staple Design reworked the Max in 2004, it was a different electronic climate and these were coppable in NYC and at premier global boutiques. The Navigation Pack was a three-part series that looked at London, New York, and Tokyo, and for the New York Air Max 90, Nike and Staple used laser embossing of New York City blocks to speak to the idea of walking around NYC. Both a men's and women's version came out of this shoe, but the women's colorway was much better.
