The leather Air Max 90 has a bit of everyman status these days, but back in the early '90s, it was revolutionary to have a runner mocked up like this. The all-leather variations of the shoe seemed to crop up most frequently in the "Limited Edition" line at Foot Locker, and this version set off a whole bunch of basic takes on the shoe in black and white. This sneaker was worn on the cover of OG Style's underrated I Know How To Play 'Em!, an album with an impressive footwear lineup throughout its liner notes.

These were retroed in the UK in either 2007 or 2008, easily one of my favourite AM90s of all time!

Wow, this is as close to perfection as I've seen! Nike really need to sort it out and start retroing these simpler colourways rather than issuing shoes with lurid and ugly patterns all over them...

had to cop the Infrareds off g.p. but they run small. toes hurt but the approving nods make it worth the discomfort.

Who made this list???? I dont agree at all. Ive seen enough after the top 10! I have the AM 90 warhawk's and they should have been top 5.
