Year: 2006
San Francisco's HUF has been the reigning West Coast collaborative overlord across brands for a minute, but its work with Nike has been exceptional. It's easy to get caught up on the earthquake-themed "Huf Quake," but the Louis Vuitton-looking brown and gold used on this Clerk's Pack effort edges that shoe out. Some luxury concepts catch a brick though bungled executions, but the reptile effect on that swoosh, gold accent on the Air unit, and enough restraint to use plenty of mesh makes this a superior effort.

These were retroed in the UK in either 2007 or 2008, easily one of my favourite AM90s of all time!

Wow, this is as close to perfection as I've seen! Nike really need to sort it out and start retroing these simpler colourways rather than issuing shoes with lurid and ugly patterns all over them...

just a shame (BIG SHAME) re: the crackin' pain on the midsole... rendered mine unwearable.
