Year: 1992
Before the Air Max 87's real reissue in the late '90s, Nike used some excess Air Max 90 sole units and fused them with an 87 upper. We acknowledge that putting this on a 90s list is cheating to some degree, but the Air Max 90's sole unit was distinctive, and it dominated this hybrid. Now, hybrids are all over the place, but in 1992, this was crazy. They thought we wouldn't notice, and now this is a keeper within the AM90 lineage.

These were retroed in the UK in either 2007 or 2008, easily one of my favourite AM90s of all time!

Wow, this is as close to perfection as I've seen! Nike really need to sort it out and start retroing these simpler colourways rather than issuing shoes with lurid and ugly patterns all over them...

just a shame (BIG SHAME) re: the crackin' pain on the midsole... rendered mine unwearable.

had to cop the Infrareds off g.p. but they run small. toes hurt but the approving nods make it worth the discomfort.

Who made this list???? I dont agree at all. Ive seen enough after the top 10! I have the AM 90 warhawk's and they should have been top 5.
