Huarache 2K4

Huarache 2K4

The Nike Zoom Air Huarache 2K4 was supposed to be Kobe Bryant's signature sneaker in 2003, but his sexual assault case that year forced Nike to put affiliation with the Lakers superstar on hold. Despite the controversy, the Nike Zoom Air Huarache 2K4 still became one of the most popular sneakers in the NBA. Designed by Eric Avar, this shoe was created for a player that possessed quickness while remaining powerful and explosive. Kobe later stated that the Huarache 2K4 was the first sneaker to ever give him a feeling that his shoes were a pure extension of his feet on the court.
