"These were completely innovative. The whole shoe was woven, which is very difficult to make, but the Rainbow one was even harder to make. If you look at the Rainbow version, each strap that was used for the weaving changes colors along its entire length. Not only was the weaving hard, but they also individually dyed each strand of weaving before it was woven together. It was incredibly expensive for what it was, which was essentially a slipper made of rubber bands, but it was very comfortable and had great ventilation."
