"This was the first shoe we came out with as part of our Airwalk collection. The reason that I put this on the list is because these shoes are also like a line in the sand of sneaker culture. It was the first collection, in my opinion, that took street culture into the mainstream. If you go back two years, they would've said no to these but now it's a whole different market. I think it's time to break new ground and go in a whole different direction. The Airwalk collaboration is a good example of that."
