What are the best sneakers of 2009? To answer this question, we assembled a panel of sneaker experts, including Matt Halfhill (founder of NiceKicks.com), DJ Clark Kent (God's favorite DJ), Mayor (AF1 King), Chris Vidal (ALIFE Manager), and Wil Whitney (head coach of 21 Mercer and founder of Nom de Guerre). Last week, each expert shared their personal Top 10, and now everyone is coming together to determine the official Top 10 Sneakers of 2009. We even caught the whole debate on video.

If you think back to 1989 (if you can) remember how bad you wanted Reebok Pumps. Not sure where you're from, but in our neighborhood, the Pump was as desirable as a pair of Jordans. Crazy talk? You crazy. This year, Reebok brought back the original, sky high silo, and got the greatest shops in the world to color them up. Between the killer collabs, the authentic retro, and the appropriate amount of market awareness, this project put Reebok back on the map. We were unable to pick just one, as a different sneaker appealed to each person, so the full collection gets our #5 spot. Watch the video below to see what our panel enjoyed about the sneakers, and what made the Reebok 20th Anniversary Bringback the #5 Sneaker of 2009...
