Getting out of the car to pump gas is a real bitch. You have to stand out in the cold and stop listening to your jam—unless, of course, you want to be that guy blasting music at the pump. But soon people in St. Louis might get the McDonald's treatment with their gas.
A company out of Pacific, Mo. has developed a robotic gas pump. It uses infrared lights and cameras to locate the fuel door. Then an arm with a suction cup opens the door, the nozzle extends into the fuel tank (pause), and the gas is dispensed. All this happens while you get to stay in those heated seats and bump Nelly.
