French designer Yelken Octuri works as a cabin designer for Airbus, but his name has been circulating recently for a different sort of aircraft design. Octuri's "Flying Yacht" concept (more specifically the "Seaplane-convertible trimaran sailing yacht") seems far-fetched when you say it out loud, but if you read through his design plans and view the sketches, it's really not that crazy. There are planes that can land and maneuver across bodies of water, so why not the other way around? 

The sails on Octuri's design are retractable and the masts come down to give the vessel an impressive wingspan of 297 feet. We could list all of the specs that you probably don't care about, but instead we'll link to them for those interested. For everyone else, check out the videos below:
