The Hövding invisible bike helmet has been getting a lot of attention over the past six months. Designed by Terese Alstin and Anna Haupt of Denmark, the device fits around the rider's neck like a small brace and deploys an airbag helmet when an accident happens. Thousands have been sold overseas (at around $500 each) and TODAY on NBC recently got an interview with the designers to discuss the design, their success so far, and what the helmet could mean for the future of the industry.
