Apparently, Portland Trail Blazers forward Thomas Robinson likes to drive fast. Very, very fast. And it got him into some trouble this past weekend when police clocked him doing 107 miles per hour—yes, 107 miles per hour!—in a 55 MPH zone.

According to Portland Police, Robinson was observed driving at a high rate of speed in his white 2013 Porsche Panamera on I-5 in Oregon late Friday. And when a police officer clocked him, the radar gun picked up a reading of 107 MPH. So Robinson was pulled over immediately, cited for driving over 100 MPH, and given a fine of $1,150. He apologized for the incident on Sunday through a tweet:

Unfortunately, though, this isn't the first time Robinson has made news for something he has done in his Porsche. Back in January, he was involved in a one-car accident in Sacramento during his brief time with the Kings. So we hope that he really takes this latest incident seriously and starts driving a little bit, er, a lot more carefully in the future.
