Long-Gone Chevy Dealership Is Finally Selling Time-Capsule Cars

The owners of a long-ago defunct Chevrolet dealership in Nebraska have finally agreed to sell their collection of time-capsule Chevrolets.

According to local reports, the cars, which have mostly collected dust for the past 30 years, consist of super low mileage Chevys from the late 1960 and early 1970s. Some of the later models still have the plastic seat covers from when they arrived from the factory!

"The collection of over 500 true survivor vehicles comprise a lifetime of hard work, tears, and joy for both of my parents," said Jeannie Lambrecht Stillwell, daughter of dealership owner Ray Lambrecht. "The dealership today is a virtual time capsule that will be opened and all contents will be sold at auction. The inventory of the dealership’s vehicles includes many new cars with original MSO’s as well as hundreds of rare 50’s and 60’s Chevys ideal for restoration projects."

The collection will be sold at an auction run by VanderBrink Auctions in September.
