You can rest your furious googling little fingers. You're not going to find anything under the search terms "Buick El Grande." That's because a Buick El Grande was never a real thing. It's a custom, if you can call it that, creation based on a 1971 Buick Centurion. Thanks to the VIN, we know that to be true, making the listing on Doug's Northwest Cadillac used car site quite hilarious:
"ONLY 16 EVER BUILT! THIS IS THE ONLY CONVERTIBLE THAT WAS PRODUCED. ORIGINAL COST WHEN ORDERED NEW WAS OVER $100,000. NO HASSLE PRICING!!! ONE OF A KIND!! A FANTASTIC BUY!!!"
Oh, a fantastic buy, huh? If you consider finding a Frankencar built from the scraps of a bunch of other old Buicks amazing, then yes, fantastic buy. The best part is that it's selling for the low price of $17,495. Woweeeee!
