We've heard of all sorts of things being sold on eBay, like souls, Apache gunships, and the original Hollywood sign, but never before have we seen a car company listed on the virtual auction house.
Swallow Coachbuilding used to make cars under the name Standard Swallow, or SS. After World War II "SS" was not a good name for anything anymore, so the company was renamed "Jaguar." A few years ago the original Swallow name was purchased by a man intent on making a rival to the Morgan 3-Wheeler with Harley Davidson power that will be sold through the Harley dealer network, and that is what is for sale for around $200,000. A partial trade for a vintage race-car would also be accepted.
