Gallery: The BMW i3 Electric Megacity Vehicle at the i Born Electric Tour in NYC

As we just discussed, the BMW i3 electric megacity vehicle is made from carbon fiber reinforced plastic, keeping its weight down and enabling up to a 100-mile range from one charge. The i3 also features opposite-opening doors, renewable raw materials in the interior, and full smart phone integration that allows you to book charging stations and precondition the vehicle. At 12.5 feet long, 5 feet high, and 6.5 wide, the four-door i3 is the approprite size for city driving but maintains a comfortable cabin, largely in part to the lack of a central tunnel (hooray electric motors!).
