At the time these cars came out, the Ferrari badge was reserved exclusively for V12 models, so the 308 GT4 was originally badged as a Dino. Part of what makes the 308 GT4 so interesting is that it is one of the very few mid-engined 2+2s ever made. It was also the first Bertone-designed Ferrari, which was great, even if it did upset Pininfarina.
