In order to help fully launch a complete marketing plan for the electric i3 and i8, BMW launched the first BMW i flagship store in the world yesterday. The store, located in the heart of London on BMW i Park Lane, features a revised i3 with the same exterior but redone interior. Also in the showroom are the i Pedelec scooter and the i Wallbox charger. The opening is blatantly in conjunction with the opening of the Olympics this weekend in hopes of leaching off the massive amounts of tourism. The i3 will go on sale some time next year, and the i8 will launch in 2014.
