10 Foreign Cars We Want in America

Lotus Evora GTE

The Evora GTE is the most powerful Lotus ever built. The car was created for the sole purpose of competing in the global GTE series and proved itself at the Le Mans 24 Hours. A limited run of road cars have been built, complete with a heavily modified 3.5-liter supercharged Cosworth V6 engine that puts out 438 horsepower, 162 more than the base model. With that said, the GTE has been a huge tease for Americans. Initial reports suggested that a North American appearance would be possible, however, statements from Lotus' main U.S. PR man Kevin Smith, hint that the time and cost of meeting emission requirements likely aren't worth the trouble. We guess Swizz Beatz is the only one who gets to drive this beastly machine.
