Lupe Fiasco Thanks Carroll Shelby, Tweets Picture of His Daytona Coupe

We all lost a legend today, and anybody associated with the car industry felt the death of Carroll Shelby and expressed their gratitude through social media. Gearheads aren't the only ones showing their appreciation, though. Lupe Fiasco took to his account to tweet a picture of his Daytona Coupe and tell his followers why he'll miss Shelby.

The Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe (CSX9000), named due to its creation for the Daytona race, were made as a more aerodynamic Cobra. Peter Brock helped design the body that was paired with the Cobra chassis. It made its debut in 1964 and in 1965 won eight of 11 races that it entered. It was also the first and only American-made car to win the World Manufacturer's Championship for Grand Touring Racecars.
