6. 1987 Mercedes-Benz 560SEC AMG
If you didn't have a Countach on your bedroom door in the '80s, you might have had the 560SEC by AMG. That's if you have taste, style and charisma. I didn't, but I still had such a hard-on when I finally bought a black-on-black 560SEC last year. Alright, it's the standard issue 560SEC, but even in factory trim, this was an incredibly expensive machine back in the day. Add the AMG tweaks to the 5.6-liter V8 and the custom oh-so-80s one-color paint job, and these Mercs were easily worth more than your family home ever was. An incredibly intimidating car built for high-speed work on the autobahn, the 560SEC tuned by AMG would eat anything made in the USA during the '80s.
