VIDEO: Real-life Mario Kart on the Streets of Japan

When it comes to video games, the Japanese don't play. Judging from this footage, that statement not only applies to making and mastering games, but also introducing game characters into real-life scenarios like these two drivers from the Japanese website Cliccar di when they dressed up like Mario and Luigi and hit the streets of Japan in their  X-Karts. The street legal go-karts can achieve speeds of up to 50mph, which is significantly faster than a standard go-kart's top speed of 35mph. Gamers and racing fans alike should enjoy the above clip.
