Mercedes is working on a carbon fiber E-class that would weigh 770lbs less than the existing E-class. The enhanced rigidity would allow designers to play around with things like gullwing doors or deleting the B-pillar. While this all sounds awesome, it also sounds very expensive. Get ready for it in 2015.
