Six months after the National Association of City Transportation Officials released the online PDF version comes the print edition of the Bikeway Design Guide, a handbook for urban planners and cycling advocates trying to implement more cycling-friendly infrastructure. The guide, pictured above with National Transportation Secretary and longtime cycling advocate Ray LaHood, is written with the sort of jargon that will make it possible for planners and engineers to easily reference when attempting to build more bike lanes or install a bike-share program, for example.
