1964 "Popemobile" Set To Go Up For Auction

In 1964, the Vatican commissioned Lincoln to transform their Continental limosine into a customized vehicle designed specifically for Pope Paul VI. The Popemobile is a 21-foot long limo equipped with exterior step plates, handrails, additional interior seating, and way more. The iconic automobile will go to auction later this month and is expected to sell for a lot. Did we forget to mention that this '64 Continental also paraded astronauts from Apollo 8, Apollo 11, Apollo 13, and Apollo 15 after their return to earth? Yeah, that happened.
