Ferrari's new FF is a Family Friendly Exotic

The boys from Maranello have unveiled the latest horse in their stable, and this one comes with a carriage. No, it’s not a truck—but it does come equipped with all-wheel-drive and adds a new element of versatility to the Ferrari model line.

The FF, pictured above, replaces the 612 Scaglietti for 2012 as the brand’s top grand touring model. Like the Scag, the FF seats four adults, but does so through a new, sloping hatchback-style design, not unlike BMW’s Z-coupe of yore. As an added bit of flexibility, the rear seats also fold down, creating something unheard of in most Ferraris—cargo space.

Love it or hate it, it’s still an Italian supercar at heart, with the ability to prance from 0-60 in 3.7 seconds via an all-new, direct-injection, 6.3-liter V12; good for 651 horsepower and 504 lb-ft of torque. A dedicated microsite (for you dreamers) is located below.
