Disney+ 'Proud Family’ Revival Reveals Stacked Guest List f/ Lil Nas X, Chance the Rapper, Lizzo, and More

The Disney+ 'Proud Family' revival series revealed its lengthy list of guest voice actors, including Lil Nas X, Lizzo, Gabrielle Union, and more.

As Disney+ prepares to roll out its revival of The Proud Family for the popular animated series’ 20th anniversary, the streamer has revealed the stacked roster of talent that will appear on Louder and Prouder.

Per Deadline and the Twitter account for Disney+, the extensive list of guest voice actors for the reboot includes artists Lizzo, Lil Nas X, Chance the Rapper, Normani, and Jaden Smith, plus actors, athletes, and entertainers Marsai Martin, Leslie Odom Jr., Tiffany Haddish, Lena Waithe, Anthony Anderson, Gabrielle Union, Debbie Allen, Tina Knowles, James Pickens Jr., Courtney B. Vance, Jane Lynch, Glynn Turman, Lamorne Morris, Brenda Song, Eva Longoria, Holly Robinson Peete, Al Roker, Bretman Rock, Gabby Douglas, Laurie Hernandez, and Dominique Dawes.

In the reveal of all the new guest voice actors, Disney+ shared a Proud Family featurette, which you can watch up top, with some of the talent, including Normani, Union, Knowles, and more talking about how impactful The Proud Family was. The original series ran from 2001 to 2005. 

Along with the guests, recurring talent for Louder and Prouder includes Asante Blackk, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, and Marcus T. Paulk. Returning to reprise their roles from the original are Kyla Pratt, Tommy Davidson, Paula Jai Parker, JoMarie Payton, Karen Malina White, Alisa Reyes, and Soleil Moon Frye.

The new series will be executive produced by Bruce W. Smith and Ralph Farquhar and is set to premiere on Disney+ in 2022.
