"Obviously, we wish we could have announced it on our own terms," Hadid said. "We're very excited and happy and grateful for everyone's well wishes and support."

It seems congratulations are due for Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik. According to TMZ, the celebrity couple are expecting their first child.
Sources tell the outlet Hadid is in her second trimester, though it's unclear if they are expecting a boy or a girl. The couple has yet to confirm the big news, which arrives just days after Hadid celebrated her 25th birthday at her family's Pennsylvania farm. The supermodel posted a photo of her birthday balloons alongside Malik and her little sister, Bella, but did gave no indication about her reported pregnancy. The three have been spending time at the farm during the COVID-19 lockdowns.
"Gigi and Zayn are expecting their first child together and the couple is very excited!" a source toldEntertainment Tonight. "Gigi has kept the secret close to her family and friends for a while as she’s only a few months along. Once Gigi and Zayn got back together at the end of last year it was like they never skipped a beat and knew what they had was special. The couple and their families are overjoyed."
On Wednesday, TMZ added that it learned the baby will be a girl, citing “family sources.” The site said Gigi’s 25th birthday party, where over the weekend she reportedly had balloons with blue and pink ribbons, “might've been a gender reveal party all in one.”
Hadid and Malik have had an on-again, off-again relationship since 2015. The couple announced their breakup in November 2018, but reportedly got back together sometime late last year. Hadid spoke about her desire to start a family in i-D magazine's "Icons and Idols" issue earlier this year.
"I think that as I get older ... well one day I’ll start a family and I don’t know if I will always be modeling," she said. "I love the creative side of fashion, it’s so fulfilling. The people I work with make me so happy, I’m so lucky to be around them. But who knows? Maybe I’ll take up full time cooking!"
