In light of the current circumstances, Jimmy Fallon has had to get a little creative with his show—which on Monday night meant a video chat interview with Kim Kardashian.

During the Tonight Show conversation, the two talked about quarantine life, filming Keeping Up with the Kardashians, and Kim’s now-infamous altercation with her sister Kourtney Kardashian.

“We filmed the entire season, except for the last episode,” Kim explained when asked if they were still filming. “We were in filming, so now that we've shut down production. It'll be all of us in quarantine, filmed separately by ourselves. So we have iPads set up and our iPhones—and the whole last episode will be what we do in quarantine. I literally have no idea whatever everyone else has been doing.”

Kim also discussed what led to the fight between her and Kourtney, which she attributed to “built-up resentment” between them about the fact that Kourtney doesn’t want to film anymore but won’t make a definitive decision. “We would kind of like, just keep on pushing her to figure out why she was so unhappy.” Physical fights are “not really what we do. When my mom saw that, a clip of that, she cried and was like, ‘Who are you guys? What is going on?’”

“Kourtney and I are obviously fine now but we shut down production for a week after that. I think everyone was really like shook for a minute,” Kim said. “I don’t ever really resort to violence like that. … It’s not my proudest moment, but we were going through it. She’s made the decision to take time off now. I think she really needs it.”

Last week, during promo for Season 18 of KUWTK, we saw footage of Kim and Kourtney getting into a physical altercation. While it was at first unclear what caused the fight, later we found out it stemmed from a conversation about Kourtney and Kendall Jenner’s work ethic—or lack thereof.

In other pieces of the interview with Fallon, Kim touched on what her family has been doing during self-isolation—including homeschooling her two oldest kids, Kanye West diving into foreign films, and Kim's obsession with Tiger King and Love Is Blind—plus her criminal justice reform work.
