People have been sending Power actor Michael Rainey Jr. death threats, and it might have been 50 Cent's fault.

The rapper, who created the TV show with Courtney Kemp, leaked several endings over the past several days to confuse eager fans about who shot James “Ghost” St. Patrick, portrayed by Omari Hardwick.

Rainey Jr., who plays St. Patrick’s son, Tariq, hates his father so he was already the prime suspect. His character shoots and kills St. Patrick in one leaked version of the finale, so over 300 people took it upon themselves to send the actor death threats after they saw it.

“Me going through my dms tryna figure out why I have 326 death threat messages," the actor posted on Instagram. It's likely that he didn't even know what was going on, as 50 Cent sometimes just does things on his own.

Co-stars LaLa Anthony and Naturi Naughton both left laughing and facepalm emojis in his comments.

Some fans of the show reacted to how outrageous leaving death threats for a fictional character on an actor's personal page is, while others thought it was hilarious:

People are threatening the actor that played 'Tariq' on IG, nigga has 326 death threats in his DM 😂

People are taking the Power series too serious 😂 it's just a movie
