From the Beverly Hilton in Hollywood on Morning morning, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association's selections for the 2020 class of Golden Globes nominees were announced. Tim Allen, Dakota Fanning, and Susan Kelechi Watson were on hand to read the announcements.

As always, we could spend several paragraphs here speculating on which entries in the 2019 film and television canons will ultimately go on to bag awards in January. Among this year's picks for possible victory are Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Joker, Marriage Story, The Irishman, Dolemite Is My Name, Succession, and Fleabag.
