On December 21, 2018, the Transformers franchise is dropping its first spin-off. The long-awaited Bumblebee stand alone film will grace theaters, giving the lovable fan favorite its own origin story that will delight fans of the 1980s television series. WWE Superstar John Cena stars in the film as Sector 7 lieutenant Jack Burns, who finds out about Bumblebee and decides to take him out.
On the Bumblebee press run, we got a chance to sit down with John Cena; because we're in the holiday season, we figured it was the perfect time to make some fire gingerbread houses. We can't front; Cena's not only a skilled interviewee, but he knows his way around icing and candy. Cena speaks about how he formed the backstory for Burns, which car he'd like to "transform" into, and got some insight into how Cena celebrates during the holidays.
