In case you were looking to pad out your list of movies to be excited about, here’s a suggestion: The Sisters Brothers. The first trailer just dropped on Thursday, and the Western/dark comedy hybrid starring John C. Reilly, Joaquin Phoenix, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Riz Ahmed just shot up to the top of my list of movies to be on the lookout for. It’s set to premiere in the fall, per Deadline

The movie follows Eli and Charlie Sisters, played by Reilly and Phoenix respectively, two infamous assassins who live in the gold rush era—the 1850s to be precise—in Oregon. Eli is ready to put down his gun and “open the store” but Charlie seems to like the lifestyle. They’re hired to kill a gold prospector (Gyllenhaal), who is working with a chemist (Ahmed) that claims he’s developed a formula for finding gold.

The movie is based on the Patric Dewitt novel of the same name. It’ll be acclaimed director Jacques Audiard’s first movie shot entirely in English, the follow-up to Deephan, which won the Palme D’Or at the Cannes Film Festival in 2015. Audiard also wrote the film with Thomas Bidegain, who’s working with Reilly before when he directed Les Cowboys in 2015.
