Martin Lawrence Praises J. Cole's New Album: 'Keep Doin Your Thing Brotha'

The legendary comedian posted a clip of him listening to "1985" on Instagram.

J. Cole's recent album KOD has been enjoying plenty of chart success since its release, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, landing three of its songs in the country's Top 10, and earning one of the biggest weeks in streaming history.

The praise keeps coming. Comedian Martin Lawrence recently took to his Instagram to post his own appreciation for the album, posting a video of himself listening to the closing track "1985" with an impressed look on his face. Lawrence vibes with it so much, he's almost left speechless. "Your album is [fire emoji] !! I love it!" Lawrence's caption reads. "Keep doin your thing brotha."

The momentum behind Cole and KOD doesn't look like it's slowing down anytime soon. He recently announced the first annual Dreamville Festival, which takes place this September in North Carolina.
