The second and possibly final full-length trailer for Solo: A Star Wars Story is here! Star Wars confirmed its arrival Saturday night on their Twitter account with a tweet showing the Millennium Falcon on a loop as it maneuvers out of harm’s way in a clip which appears to be taken from the previous trailer.

The film, which is slated to make its global release on May 25, 2018, will premiere in a special screening at the Cannes Film Festival 10 days earlier. Solo: A Star Wars Story is entering the home stretch of what has been a wild ride to the big screen.

Back in June, Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, the duo originally tapped to direct the film that would delve into the backstory of Han Solo, decided to part ways with LucasFilm due to “creative differences.” Shortly after the announcement was made, Lucas’s good friend Ron Howard stepped in to finish what Lord & Miller had started.

Last month, an anonymous actor who spent four months working on the film spoke with Vulture about what was going on with Solo behind-the-scenes. In addition to alleging that Lord & Miller “felt the pressure” of directing a movie of this caliber, the interview confirms a previous report that Alden Ehrenreich, who plays Han Solo, had an acting coach assigned to him because producers wanted "something very specific: copying someone else.”

It appears that once Howard came aboard, everything started to fall into place for Solo. We can all judge for ourselves next month. But until then, enjoy the trailer above.
