Kim Kardashian Breaks Silence on Tristan Thompson Cheating Scandal: 'It's So F*cked Up'

Kim also said she initially had no idea Kanye returned to Twitter.

Kim Kardashian will be on the The Ellen DeGeneres Show next week, and it looks like it’ll be a spicy appearance. In a preview, Kim addresses how she feels about the cheating scandal surrounding her sister Khloé and Cleveland Cavaliers player Tristan Thompson. Earlier this month, just days before Khloé gave birth to their first child, True, in Cleveland, Tristan was pictured with as many as five different women in New York and D.C. Neither Khloé nor anyone else from the Kardashian clan have officially spoken out about the drama since it all went down, although unconfirmed reports suggest the couple will attempt to work it out

“I don’t even know how to describe it besides ‘it’s just so fucked up,’” Kim said, seemingly confirming the rumors. "We really were rooting for Khloé, and we still are. She’s so strong and she’s doing the best that she can. It’s a really sad situation all over.”

Kim also invoked one of her commandments for speaking about family scandals publicly, one she first instated when the drama between her brother Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna was at its peak. “I made this rule with my brother: if there’s a baby involved, I’m going to keep it cute and keep it classy, and not talk too bad or try not to say anything so negative, because one day True is going to see this,” she said.

Although neither Khloé nor Tristan have spoken out about the cheating scandal, a few other famous celebrities have reached out in various ways to give support. Cardi B, who was also involved in a similar situation when videos of her fiancé Offset allegedly having sex with another woman were released, offered Khloé some advice, telling Khloé to “do what your heart feel like doing.”

Similarly, Amber Rose reached out to Khloé through Instagram, saying “I know we've had our differences in the past but my heart is broken for you sis.”

Kim also answered a few questions about her husband Kanye West’s return to Twitter, though in the sneak peek below, she didn’t mention the controversysurrounding his political tweets

Kim said she didn’t even know Kanye had reactivated his account, and at first doubted whether the tweets she saw on her timeline were real. She even clarified one of his tweets in which he mentioned getting rid of “everything.” According to Kim, he probably meant “clarity” and “cleansing,” instead of getting rid of his family, like she and Chrissy Teigenjoked about

We don’t know if Kim will talk to Ellen about Kanye’s controversial tweets supporting Donald Trump’s “dragon energy” and MAGA hats. We can probably guess Kim’s position from her recent tweets, but the timing of the interview suggests she might have a few more things to say on the subject.
